August 2016 -- Two Part Workshop -- Talking Beyond the Choir
This workshop provides methods and techniques for talking with people about environmental and climate issues. Through role plays, exercises and discussions based on the latest research in how to effectively frame these issues, we will explore how to talk with people who hold very different opinions. This is a very hands-on workshop in which you will explore your own reactions and development some practical ways to “talk beyond the choir.”
The workshop is held on Sat Aug 20 and Aug 27 from 9 to 12 pm followed by a pot-luck lunch 12-1 for those who can stay. It will be held at the beautiful and relaxing Wild Goose Farm in Vicksburg.
